I personally found the marketing course extremely useful and very relevant. As you are aware I am trying to start a foster care agency, so my background and training is in Social Work and not marketing.

The information imparted to us was crucial in giving me the confidence to market my new business appropriately and effectively and also to meet/help other people in similar position.

I was aware that we had a particularly ‘dis -engaged’ member in our group and I felt that you handled her ‘distractions’ sensitively and with dignity whilst at the same time ensuring that the rest of the group got the information and the apportunity to check out how it would apply.

I have also greatly appreciated the other facet of your role in terms of the ‘mentoring’ and the invaluable access to advice/guidance on Employment Law in the form of David Wacks via yourself. You personally put me in touch with a friend of yours who had access to crucial information re: asylum seekers, which as you know, is going to be a particular emphasis of my work.

You demonstrated a tremendous energy and enthusiasm about helping new business start ups and this was very infectious, particularly when I was feeling at my lowest…Thank You very much indeed.

It is a great shame that you are coming to the end of your contract and I shudder to think what or who will replace you, you and your role will be sorely missed.

I am just back from a trip to the Antipodes and am catching up on my correspondence.
I understand that the seminar at Eccles College on 29 November was a huge success and I am writing to thank you sincerely as the originator and prime mover of this event. We are always looking for ways in which Campus can work collaboratively with our members and this was a brilliant example of how such a shared approach can bring added value.

We employed EJS Marketing to organise a number of events for Aimhigher Greater Manchester. These included Foundation Degrees, a vocational higher education fair, an employer seminar and a series of activities in the Aimhigher summer festival. This required working with people at senior and operational level within our partners in a range of sectors including universities, schools, LEAs, colleges and work based learning providers.

Elaine interacted equally well with senior staff, practitioners and young people and she was always on top of the things that needed to be done to progress activities to plan. She wrote up the Foundation Degree event for a national magazine which itself brought profile to us and she liaised with the press to maximise the coverage for the Aimhigher events. Most of all, she was energetic and motivated at all times.
